I am not sure that I care what sort of writing necessarily. I'm not the least bit skilled at fiction, so that's out. I like to write reviews the best, movies, restaurants, travel.

I enjoyed writing the actor profile that is at nbcdfw.com. I think I would like to write more stuff like that, glimpses into people's lives. If I could pick, that's what I would do, and do well, with some reviews mixed in for fun.

Philips seemingly will honor the 90-day Return option. Dropping the unit does void the warranty, but the 90-day return option is available for any reason. The woman seemed a bit annoyed that I am able to use this option in this case. But, she said she would send the request through the proper department and I will get the return merchandise authorization by email. Then, they will mail me a check, if all goes as planned. Yes! When I got in bed last night after posting, I thought I should call Costco to inquire about this possibility, knowing that some stores have electronic records of purchases. Just home briefly, due to a delay in Turner's surgery (later post). Saw these messages and was prompted to call. Costco does have access to previous receipts and will reprint one for me. Next step will be to call Philips and push for the 90-day return. I hope they don't ruin my plans.

Outside Crazy Eyes Claire, I thought it was a pretty solid show. Hurley is becoming a Richard-Type Character while Jack is being groomed to accept the leader that he's been the entire time.

I could feel for Jack-X. I have a teenage son that thinks I know nothing of what he's going through. For Jack to be the complete opposite off island than he is on island is pretty sweet.

Wow, I don't relish the thoughts of Abbie being nine, I can hardly stand her two year old tantrums. I'm sure you know this but cutting down on or eliminating wheat improves concentration even if one does not have an allergy. When I was young, I felt as though I was in a bubble wherein I couldn't really understand what was going on. I was highly allergic to gluten though. Anyhow, just food for thought, (no pun intended). Good luck with the nine year old, just wait until she turns 13!

Hurley owned the box company in the original time line. It was discussed during a meeting with his accountant. The only thing is that he didn't know about it. Since Locke worked for the box company and Randy. Randy worked with Hurley as Mr Clucks. That was their connection. But Hurley's Lucky Lotto Powers are obviously in effect.

I missed the father mention. I assumed that he just never pursued his father like in the original time line and chose Helen. But I question how he still became handicapped.

I also didn't even blink at the inclusion of Ben in the 2004 alt timeline. We can only assume that he made it to the sub prior to the bomb exploding, as did Charlotte and baby Miles.

Jason, what a wonderful blog! I'm a California girl, and despite living in Texas for over 40 years (and all over, from dad's Air Force years), Burbank is *always* home for me. Coming over 101, past Hollywood Bowl, the Barham Blvd. exit, I just get anticipatory thrills - the overhanging pines on my grandparents' old street (just across from NBC studios) are still so deeply fragrant. The little house I was born in, down just five houses from where my grandparents house was, it's all such a part of me. Thank you for your blog - I got a tight throat and a little teary (in the best possible way). JG
